Wow. I totally agree with your fangirlism. I squee too when they just stand next to each other, when they are just friends. Just the smallest gesture means the world- maybe it's the joy of seeing a character like Byakuya opening up!

Good description of their interactions in the manga- it's good to be up on the canon. I recently bought the Bleach Souls Character Book, after this I will certainly get around to reading it.

The Bleach SOULs Character Book almost made me fall off my chair when I got to the Byakuya/Renji fight. SO MANY SHIPPY IMAGE TAGS! I think it was truely my inspiration!
