I was kind of annoyed that Nnoitra died since some chapters were spent developing his relationship with Nell. It made me think something romantic could be possibly foreshadowed. I like this pairing but people seem to prefer Nell with other arrancar or Ichigo.

It annoyed me as well, it was awkward but it's also ironic in a lot of ways. I've always found the other pairings understandable and slightly enjoyable, but Nnoitra (to me, and this is purely my opinion) is really her only canonical love interest She's known Ichigo a few hours, and completely disregarded him as an adult to fight Nnoitra. I guess if I felt Kubo wanted her to be with other people, he wouldn't have emphasized them at every opportunity. He had absolutely no reason to give them development after 296, but he did and I'm happy with it. I'm rambling, thank you for commenting <3

Hmm, last time I checked there were way more Nnoinel fics than Nel/anyone else ones.

Go on most forums and you see that the nnoinel clubs lack activity in comparison. It's taken a lot of effort to keep them alive, but I am glad to say that we do have more fanfics and fanart- yay!

When I originally read those chapters I thought, "Does he like her or something?"

-The same thought I thought when I read about Ulquiorra telling Orihime to eat or he'd shove food down her throat.-

But since then, dismissed it.
