RE the Doctor Who anime: it's definitely cool, but I dunno, the feel of it isn't very Doctor Who-ish to me. Has the Doctor been that physically violent before the new Who? I'm only familiar with new Who but the ass-kicking Doctor was surprising to see especially as one of the big things in DW is that the Doctor is a pacifistic alien...which, IMHO, is what made Doctor Who unique to me. Without that (or rather, with that violence), you have your average ass-kicking hero who roundhouse kicks his enemies, which there are far too many in other anime.

But, seeing as it's a fan-made project, I guess it's his call how the DW anime should be... -_-

The violence seemed a bit overkill, but it's anime, so... A real (BBC-produced/supported) anime would probably have the stylistic qualities of anime without the violence, if they wanted to really relate it to the ongoing message of the show. Be interested to see if the BBC does accept his contribution
