Since yesterday, I'm trying to revamp my music folder. You see when I ripped my cds before, most of the songs were converted to .wma, which is a not-so-portable format. I mean, anyone would rather have them in mp3 format. So I deleted all the albums that had the .wma and started to rip them again one by one. I'm almost done actually. But since most

Good luck with the music collection. I did that myself some years ago. I can get *very* anal with the filenames and tags, like knowing what words to capitalize, punctuations, word breaks, etc. Also for artists that start with 'The' I put it at the end ('Carpenters, The') so they'll be easier to find when listed alphabetically (and you won't waste time wondering if it's under 'T' or 'C').

ooh I see I see. but I think for the song titles, it's automatic with WMP. and yes, I'm also very meticulous with capitalization.
