I hate being sick. It makes you miss out on friends' parties that you PROMISED YOU WOULD GO TO (sorry, fausti!), it makes you forget to do things like write up and second out Christmas cards (sorry everybody!) and if I hadn't already don't my shopping for the year prior to, I probably would have forgotten that as well, joy
