Write It Now

Took a look at this one writer's software package called Write It NowFrom what I can tell of it, the proggie's got a lot of stuff that I think is pretty outstanding. Character trackers and generators, the ability to write your stories and define it by chapters, submission and other templates, all in a slightly more coherent bundle, than, say, ( Read more... )

Well that's always a problem, you want people to try it out, BUT you don't want it so that people can just use the base without buying/registering it. Maybe you should email them asking more about their character generator portion? If they are customer friendly, I'm sure they would be willing to answer your question if there's more to it than what you've seen.

I also downloaded it here at work so I can take a look at it from a second system opinion. It's promising, it really is...but I'm still far from impressed. I'll probably end up sticking with Word unless something better comes up (I've heard some really good stuff about Final Draft, but for the price of that, I'd be better off shelling out for the art stuff we need instead).

looks pretty interesting to me too. Sort of a Final Draft for fiction. :) I'd like to know how it's like...I use Word Perfect and have been considering investing in Word as my basic, come with the puter WP copy is a bit buggy.
