Title: Olympics Fandom: Heroes Pairing: Gen - 'House of M' Rating: G Summary: Molly asks questions. Incessantly. Author's notes: Just a bit of 'House of M' fluff
Aww, M3 fluffiness. You can never go wrong there, and this was absolutely sweet and adorable. Love the fact that you got them all together and brought up Mohinder's past interests and normal pastime that could, somehow, intergrate into their hectic daily lives once again. Nicely written.
This is so cute! I really like fluffly M3 stories that focus more on the cuteness than on the slash, so this was great. And I loved the focus on Mohinder thinking about an aspect of his past. On the show, he's so divorced from everything that happened to him before, and all the little bits of fun that I'm sure he must once have had.
The last line was too adorable for words. I wanted to hug it.
I have this really strange thing where, in couples I slash, I like to write stuff where it's there but not the focus? So many fics that focus on my favourite pairings, I find it so over-bearing it almost becomes OOC... so I like to take, say, Mohinder and Matt, assume they're a couple, but then focus on some other aspect of their lives. Maybe I'm just odd.
Either way, thank you! I'm glad I've got such a fan!
assume they're a couple, but then focus on some other aspect of their lives On the one hand I know what you mean. Life goes on and things don't have to be so suffocatingly about the schmoop. Again, that's why I found this so refreshing and fabulous. And then on the other hand, I always personally feel this bizarre need to sell people on the pairing each time I write a story, so everything I've ever written has been a getting-together story. I guess this story and your comment have inspired me to try to do something else. Maybe I will!!
I'm definitely a fan. I think I will friend your writing journal, too, to make sure I don't miss any of your non-Mylar Heroes fic. :)
Ah, see, I don't think I'm any good at doing getting-together fics. I'm much happier in the realms of "established relationship". I'm glad I've inspired you to try something, though!
