Why is translation so hard!

I'm translating a fanfiction. From Thai to English...

Despite it being my own...IT IS SO FREAKIN' HARD!!!

And it's so retardedly long I had no idea. It was suppose to be short, but Nooo nooooo. It had to take up like 70 pages on Microsoft word with the standard font.
