Title: Every Time (Chapter 3A)
Pairing: Eunhae, Kihae, Maybe more later
Rating: PG-13+
Summary: Hyukjae was walking home from the store to his shared apartment with Junsu, when in the darkness of night, people attacked him. He woke up in a teen's house. What happens when he, an adult, falls for this teen?
A/N: I had a whole other thing for this chapter planned. I really did. I had it typed up completely. LJ deleted it.
Donghae watched Hyukjae getting him coffee from his seat in the small café. He smiled at the back of the man before turning his attention to the man beside him. "What the fuck, Kibum?" "What do you mean? Shouldn't I be asking you that?" Donghae looked down. "Okay, I'm sorry." "Sorry? Oh, well I completely accept that. I mean... you are totally throwing yourself at him in front of my face, you are acting like nothing happened when it happened because of us, and then-then... then you tell him I'm your classmate? Why couldn't you just spit out 'Hyukkie, this is Kibum, my boyfriend'? Or is it because you don't want him knowing I'm your boyfriend?"
The older teen stared, shocked, at his boyfriend. His boyfriend never talks this much. He is in some serious trouble now. "Listen, Kibum. I don't know why I didn't tell him you're my boy friend. I don't even know why I took him in off the streets. I guess I just felt guilty." Kibum sneered. "Guilty. Yeah, right. We've done much worse to people before. We were drunk. You don't have a conscience when you're drunk. You just get really horny. Seeing that we knocked out a guy that you thought was hot... the only thing you felt guilty about was not fucking him, right there and then."
Donghae looked to the table, pouting. It's true. When they had struck the older man, he hadn't seen the face. Usually when they get drunk, they go around, beat people until they pass out-nothing that serious-and then take their money or any valuables on them. He's never felt guilty about it. The only reason he brought the older man back to his place was to tie the guy up, wait for the man to wake up, and then fuck him senseless. He made Kibum drag Hyukjae all the way from Seoul with him, onto a train and back to his apartment. He told Kibum to take the beer to his apartment, so next Friday they can drink it.
He was going to take the guy's money, but a slight stir in the guy's sleep made him freeze and turn. The guy was just moving in discomfort. The guy pressed his head back and a moan escaped his lips. It was pained. He probably had got his head hurt from the impact on the street. Why his head wasn't bleeding, he doesn't know. Kibum and him hadn't hit the guy's face. They only hit his stomach, his crotch-that must of been really painful-his legs, and back to his stomach. This guy was friendly, it seems. He didn't want to hurt them, even though he was being hurt himself.
He looked at the man laying down and saw just how good looking the guy was. How... innocent the guy looked, and all he wanted to do was hug the guy. Hold him close. Protect him. It was then that the first wave of guilt washed over him, and he put a hold on stealing the guy's money. He didn't tie the guy up, either. For some reason. It felt... it felt like the first time he saw Kibum. No. It felt better. His stomach was turning, his breath was shortening.
"D-Donghae?" Kibum smirked inwardly as Donghae snapped out of his thoughts and saw Hyukjae. "U-uh. Sorry, Hyukkie. Did you say something?" Hyukjae nodded. "I said I really think I should be getting back to Seoul... where are we anyway?" The older of the two teens cursed to himself and tried killing Kibum with his eyes as he glared at the younger when the teen had said "You're in Mokpo, Hyukkie."
Hyukjae was confused at the tone but said nothing. "M-Mokpo? How'd I get here? Wait... how'd you find me in Seoul?" Donghae muttered a quick string of curse words under his breath when he realized he supposedly hated Kibum and the question was directed to him. "I-I was in Seoul, visiting my grandparents, and I saw you on my way home."
Hyukjae nodded and stayed quiet as he handed over the cup of coffee he had for Donghae. The younger smiled uncertainly as he watched Hyukjae frown as he seemed to contemplate something. "So! What are you and me going to have for dinner, Hyukkie?" The older man seemed shocked at a question being suddenly asked but went to reply anyway.
"I have to get home... to Junsu. He's probably worried sick. I haven't talked to him since I got mugged." Donghae glared at the table. "Stop talking about Junsu. I don't like him." Hyukjae looked confused at the older teen. "What do you mean? You don't even know him." Kibum was glaring at Donghae. Of course his boyfriend didn't like this guy that the oldest of all of them has to get home to.
"Junsu... is that your boyfriend," Kibum asked with seemingly innocent wonder. He really was wishing the older man would say yeah just so his boyfriend would stop falling all over the oldest. "No, it isn't his boyfriend, Kibum. It's his roommate." Hyukjae nodded and smiled. "He's my best friend, ever since elementary."
Kibum smiled. "That's nice to hear. It's hard to keep friends." Hyukjae nodded thinking back to all of the friends he has lost before, but smiled thinking of all of the friends he has. A frown made its way to his face as he thought of a certain someone. Someone who he had avoided everyone for.
"What's wrong, Hyukkie?" Hyukjae hadn't even noticed he started to look down. "Oh, nothing, Donghae. I just think... maybe I should," he stopped to think about it. If he goes back he'd just have to face the reality of what had happened. Why exactly Junsu and him were getting beer in the first place.
If he goes back now, he'd just have to face the cold, hard truth. He would have to face the person who started it all. "Um... maybe I should stay the night at your house, again tonight." The older teen's face lit up and Kibum scowled.
"Yes! Of course Hyukkie! We can have dinner at my house again, then we can watch a movie, then we can have snacks, and then we can... oh! You can take a shower at my place. You're older than me but I think we can wear the same size clothes so we can get you clothes, and then we can go into my bedroom and then we can talk about random things, like anything, and then we can-." "Donghae, we get it. You can do this, and then you can do that. Just shut up."
Donghae glared at Kibum but turned his attention back to Hyukjae who was smiling at Donghae like Donghae was the cutest thing he's ever seen. Hyukjae just nodded. "That sounds great." He smiled, feeling slightly embarrassed because he knew it was all gums.
