Oh, my darling, I'm so glad you're blogging again! I've missed you so! Also glad you're finally getting a bit of a break! I leave for St. Louis in 3 days and I wish I could see you once more before I plunge unto the brink! It would fortify my soul a bit to let it out to commune with yours. Dear heart, please update your LJ more. I want to know what's going on in your life, and I want a piece of you in mine. Let's have a mind-meet; let's discuss things as we did in a time that now seems like a past life. What are you reading? I've limited myself to only two boxes of books to take to StL, but I'm rethinking that. Did you recommend Name of the Wind to me? It was pretty excellent - puts a new spin on the genre! Seems really inspired by Earthsea - but then, who isn't? God, I'm rambling. Sorry dear. Write me back. I love you.

MANDY!!!!!! *tackles you* I MISS YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am trying to update more, will you do the same? I want to know how you are! I'm so so so excited for you about this year and what wonderful things are waiting for you. I want to know all about it!!!! (OK, I must stop with the !!!! :) It is just so lovely to hear from you! er, I mean, to hear from you. HA!) I'm glad you liked The Name Of the Wind, Dubin turned me onto it so he may have told you too, but I thought it was pretty darn good. I'm looking forward to the next one. I still haven't read Earthsea (yes, I KNOW. :) ) so I'll have to take your word on that part. So how did the move go? did you survive? Of course you did, you are Mandy and you are wonderful. :)
