The Wammy's House, according to Matt, was decidedly boring.

Yeah, okay, there were the tests, but really, Matt didn't see the appeal. So everyone wanted to sit in front of a computer all day and solve tricksy crimes. Maybe the computer part didn't sound so bad, but mysteries were just... boring.

Matt hated hated hated being bored.

Still, though, whenever L would show up, he couldn't help but be excited along with most everyone else. L, to a good amount of those kids, was... kinda like God. And meeting God's pretty cool, right? Yeah. But also...

"Matt," L greeted in the hallway, and Matt gave a two-fingered wave.

"Hey, L," he said, and pretended his heart wasn't beating a little quicker.

L walked by, ruffled Matt's hair idly-- bent down and kissed the crown of Matt's head. "Your hair... mm, always smells like strawberries," L said in his detached way, straightening somewhat and nibbling on his thumb. He cocked his head ( ... )

Awww, cuteness. I swear, I was gonna call out "Matt, watch out! He's gonna try to eat you!" at the end of this then I thought, hey maybe it'd be the fun kind. *shifty eyes, grins* ^-^;;
