When Connor met his father for the first time, he met him as Green Arrow, the hero. He was in awe of GA's skills with a bow and arrow. Connor had always been fascinated by archery. He even took it up at his school, and it calmed him a lot, so when his mother told him who his father was for the first time, Connor was ecstatic and couldn't wait to meet the man again
