So yeah, wow, I'm alive. Just barely, in some respects. I've just gotten over a bad cold... one which began right after an even worse cold ended a few weeks ago. Two sicknesses in a row, which kept me ruined for at least a month. And all while working fulltime, and still hanging out with folks all the time. Not to mention I got a partially-impacted

Not too bad, though. With their pay-increase scale, even as slow as it is, you must make at least a credible wage by now. Come visit my store sometime! That or, I'll stop by yours. It's interesting seeing other Meijers, the one in Palatine was HUGE (to where it dwarfs my location... Rolling Meadows).

Minus the fact they cap your pay at 9.50. So once you hit that 9.50, you never get another raise again.

On top of being told I will NEVER be made a team leader. Kinda kills any motivation to go in every day, doesn't it?

Happy belated birthday! I'm a week late, but if anything I guess that's fast in my case ^_^;; And wow, the baby's coming so soon! Good luck with the final weeks, and I can't wait to say a very accurate "L'chaim!" when your blessed child arrives. I miss me some Gypchan, and I definitely need to come back on MMBBS as well. So many things have happened in my months away from there, and I'm only sorta caught up thanks to Steve filling me in.
