I actually grabbed SMT: Strange Journey before I left the US. Maybe I'll start that one after I finish grad school apps.

So many good games coming out! I saw the Layton/Phoenix crossover this morning. So exciting!!! I may have to check out Miyako, sounds like my cup of tea. :D

What have you been up to aside from games? I miss you!!!!!!

Excellent, tell me what you think of it sometime whne you've sunk a few hours into it. It may not be your cup of tea, but I've been playing... *checks* uh, 75 hours. Also, congrats on the progress you've made re: grad school apps! Remind me to... uh... send you a Japanese game in celebration! In Japan! Yes. >_>

The only problem with the Layton/AA game is that it'd be really hard to translate. I think Capcom will end up bringing it over due to the fans, though, so that hopefully won't become necessary. *crosses fingers*

In case you don't have it, here's Miyako's website: http://sanctuary.nandemo.gr.jp/work/miyako/. It's from a new developer, I think, so hopefully they're competent at visual novels. I'd also think you'd want to check out HaruToki. Remind me, are you into the Bakumatsu at all?

Not much going on, really. Been working at my dad's office and seeing several counselors, mostly. I've also been reading quite a bit more than I have for the past few

Will do! ^_^ My list of fun things to-do after apps is getting long. (The big one is I am actually going to apply to be a translator for a scanlation group; put some of this Japanese learning to use!) I'm really excited about the possibility of the one graduate school- the professor I want to work with is doing a project on the Taira, so if I go there I could read Taira diaries and help with his research.

Both series are so big here, I don't see why they wouldn't. Speaking of AA, I was so excited at Tokyo Game Show when they were showing the new Edgeworth trailers on a giant screen. :D

Excellent. I don't really know much about Bakumatsu, but I'd like to learn more.

Yay books! Anything good?

I MAY be going to the Rally depending on... at lot of things. To be fair, Doublestar Halloween is that evening, so I'd have to host a party as soon as I got back. Also, I may or may not have a Ren Choir rehearsal that day, which is the main reason that I am so hesitant ( ... )

Whoa, yeah, that's a lotta commitments. Maybe I'll see you at AnimeUSA, buuut I still haven't decided whether or not I want to go. Still can't reach Tori or Erin.

Ahhh, forgot about GS3. Also (speaking of Ammy), Okamiden comes to America next March, I think. :D

Yay, that's awesome that you're working with Judy! How's the job going?
