Okay, so I've found that the final weapons in SSM:MR are specifically elemental according to their wielders' natures. One thing that stood out was the elemental relationships between weapons of a wife-husband team. Dude! That is so awesome! I love it when games/books incorporate the Chinese elemental system. And it makes sense because the game is actually set in China. XD

What element does Ningning have?

Ningning has two daggers called something like the "Flame Edge Stars," (I have no idea what the official translation for that is; I still don't have an English version :x) but they're Water elemental. I don't know either; I'd guess it's because he's a former pirate, but Zhou Tai has Wood. :/ Lots of the elements given don't really seem to match the character: Sun Ce is Water, and I'm not really sure I'd've called Ma Chao of all people Earth considering he's basically a nekketsu sentai leader.

XD Hey, I didn't program the elemental connections (hell, I thought Sima Yi was a shoe-in for Ice/Water given his Infinite Renbu in DW6).
