It had been going just fine until the bleeding ship had shown up. Iseral was having a ball attempting to fish off of the port and...failing miserably at it, and Luca was having a grand time watching her fail and making sure to lavish her with insults whenever necessary.

Now, of course, she had to go find a new fishing spot, moving to another dock and insisting he come along. Luca had been ready to follow his sister when he noticed something that made him plenty irritated. Or really someone. That someone was from Shinra, and while he didn't know her name, he could recognize her face when she got off the ship ( ... )

Luca was doing his best not to pay attention to the meeting going on, as Iseral seemed insistent on having his attention. And who could blame her? He came home...how often? And with the home only housing two women, the occasional familiar male influence was much appreciated. Janelle was always going on and on about how her son needed to get out of that dangerous business and come home to have an honest job. They wouldn't mind it if his paycheck was smaller ( ... )

Oh shit.

The situation had just gone from bad to worse to downright mortifying and it took everything she had to not stare, terrified, at the other Turk. This was exactly what she had been hoping to avoid - why him? Why here? Why not a week from now in the office when they were both in suit attire and she no longer was wearing a damned wig or too-high heels ( ... )
