He was first to the meeting as usual. He checked his watch. A little over five minutes had passed with him waiting in the corridor, politely avoiding the apparently still-brooding Drake. The Turks' Boss had been fixating on some situation involving his "partner" (as Drake termed him; the use of the word boyfriend was enough to send him into a well rehearsed lecture on the importance of equality in same sex relationships) and he feared that if he didn't wait until someone else showed up he'd start up again

Getting Baldur to come to the office was an easy task. Getting her to stay within ten meters of Luca was going to be something else entirely. She was pretty sure she hated him, but it was yet to be seen just how much

Luca would never get used to this. It certainly wasn't the first time that he had been contacted in the middle of the night, but he'd be damned if he was going to adjust to having his precious time constantly interrupted. It was a miracle he'd survived in SOLDIER for as long as he did. But it probably didn't help that he was coming down from one sweet high, and the last thing he needed was getting fired by Shinra once again because of drugs.
With a groan, he kicked the partially nude (quickies did not require the complete removal of clothes) woman off of his bed with his bare foot. She swore a mouthful at him as she sat up from her rude awakening, and he just went hunting for underwear. "I have work to do. Get out

Infuriating. Absolutely infuriating is what Luca was.
Slipping her hands away from the chair, Baldur glared at the back of his head. “Please, make yourself comfortable.” Stepping back a few paces, she leaned against the wall near the door instead, folding her arms sternly over her chest.
This meeting could not possibly be over soon enough. Where were Jack and the others, anyway?
Shit shit shit. Ash glanced up at the wall clock as he sprinted across the lobby, narrowly missing several Shinra office workers and one rather distracted scientist. Five minutes. The meeting had started five minutes ago. He wasn't used to all of the intricacies of having a 'real' job yet, but he was fairly certain being late to a special meeting called by your boss was not a way to make a good first impression.
He dove into an open elevator just as the doors began to close, earning some strange look from the two other employees in the elevator. "Sorry...meeting, late," he managed to get out. They wisely chose not to comment. He turned to face the panel of floor numbers...one through fifty-nine. Goddamnit. Wrong elevator, again. Oh well. At this point another five minutes wasn't going to matter too much. He sighed and hit fifty-nine

The rookie got a raised eyebrow from Luca as he entered. He wasn't sure if he'd seen him before... He had sort of a familiar face, but it was pretty obvious from the way that he carried himself that he was rather new. The ex-SOLDIER could practically smell the fresh meat. He was even later than Luca and Jack (technically), which was just laughable.
Of course, he was distracted again when Jack and Zhi entered. Jack got a nod in response to his wave, but Zhi just got an amused grin. Whatever the poor guy had walked in on, it probably wasn't pretty. Oh well.
It's not like it was any of his business. He was here, and he was at least mostly positive that everybody was present. He wasn't sure who else would be needed... And really, did this meeting need to be put off any longer?
