i still dont understand the codes thing. so you had to buy the journal to get a code to activate it? or am i totally wrong?

When you made a free journal back then, you'd get ONE code, and you'd have to give that to someone, and they can make one.

It's like a web.

Paid accounts get like a BILLION codes, and free ones get ONE code to give out.

Back in the day that is.
