I'm back, baby!

Oh, over a month ago, I'm sure, I bogged down suddenly over a mere trifle in Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia and then neglected my Castlevania habit, not playing it for like a month. So long that a few days ago when I decided to fire it up again, I was actually rather clumsy. But I eased myself into it, told myself I didn't have to do anything ( Read more... )

Yay! I still haven't moved on to a different game yet, this one is too fun. I bet you'll enjoy Albus mode too. (By the way, the answer to my question was, yes you fight yourself in Mystery Manor. And evil!Albus even still mourns for Shanoa if he kills good!Albus. Lame.)

The Wedding Dress isn't *that* awesome. Let her wait until you get Felicem Fio and a Thief Ring or two, then White Fomors will throw Cashmere Threads at you. ;)

Still, a good place to go get my groove back. ^_~

I should probably make George wait for his Eagle Feather, too, rather than go hunt Altairs...

Moving right along; I'm working on Mystery Manor now. I'm still kind of poky and not pressing boldly onward like I perhaps might (see the overleveling), but making progress.

I did give in and hunt up that eagle feather, although now that I've met Mandragoras I don't yet feel like farming them for Abram. I've actually finished the quests for about half the villagers now; finished stuff for Aeon earlier, and now did everything for Anna and Serge (I wonder if that's like "surge" or if it's "Sergei"; I admit I looked up his last one on YouTube to figure it out...), and George and Marcel.

I must have seriously lucked out on Serge's blindfold one, it only took me like three tries; I just kept jumping like an idiot in whatever direction I was supposed to.

I do remember farming for Mandrake being highly annoying, Argila Swamp isn't really that fun. But assuming you've done Aeon's quests, *nothing* surfer boy has is worth anything anymore. It's not like you'll finish *all* the quests until after you beat Dracula anyway (Irina's last one is effectively "clear the Large Cavern") so he can certainly cool his heels until you get a full complement of luck-enhancers.
