I waited at the airport for my sister. I wondered if I had made the correct decision in allowing her to join us. Slowly standing and pacing to the point where my legs began to ache I had a momentary flash where I wished I had taken up a vice so that I could relax. Being a champion was bloody tiring. I was one of the most active watchers and leaders ( Read more... )

I had gotten word on the plane that Michelle had called ahead and told Wesley I was coming. Good, I didn't want to have to navigate my way around Kathmandu by myself.

When we landed, I moved my way through the terminal looking for Wes. It's been a while but I was sure I could recognise my own brother. I looked around no, no, no...wait there he is!! I smirked at his appearance, my brother had gotten alot tougher looking since I saw him last.

I walked up to him and smiled "Hey Stranger" giving him a hug.

My arms opened and then closed around her back. I pulled her close, up into my chest as I leaned back and let myself do a spinny hug where I slowly turned in circles while she lifted her feet up in glee.

Although no horsey rides in the terminal. Good god, I was beginning to be very sarcastic in my thinking.

It was nice to touch her again. The letters had seemed rather impersonal and now that she was here and alive and in one piece I could relax.

Although absolutely positively no shopping.

Or I might start drinking once more.

I smiled warmly and hugged him back, glad that I wasn't alone anymore. Then I hit him in the shoulder "You don't call, you don't check to see if I'm still alive..." I shook my head "Still it's wonderful to see you though" I reluctantly let him go and picked up my bag, following him out of the airport.

"What on earth are we doing here anyway?" Really it seemed like the last place we would end up.

Thank goodness she was old enough to carry her own bag. I gazed over to her and smiled. "Well, I believe it was easier to meet here then Timbuktu." I teased.

I allowed one hand to rest by my side as I flagged down a taxi. It soon appeared and I opened the door for her. "Actually, I have recently completed resurrecting Tara and this was the optimum base camp for the operation."

I hid my bandaged hand with stumps of the missing fingers away from her. No need to frighten her about what happened.
