You could try Net10. Half a minute to send and receive text messages ( meaning half a minute for each, which is about 5 cents), 2.5 minutes to send a media file message with 1 minute being taken out for how long it is to receive or send it out of your phone. Which is essentially 30 cents plus 10 cents per minute. Though if you only get 300 minutes for $30... yeah... it adds up quick.
