This weekend I spent about 10 hours in a car driving through various parts of Georgia.  As is my habit when I am alone in cars, I look to roadsigns and billboards for entertainment and intellectual stimulation.  Also sometimes cheap and immature giggles at the Chancy Drugstore.  On the same vein, it is absolutely amazing how many signs for adult ( Read more... )

During a recent spate of power outages, I have taken to reading fairy tales by candlelight (while listening, of course, to “Dreams of Candlelight”, from Beethoven's Last Night. Reading by candlelight while listening to an ipod might be anachronistic. Oh well.). For the moment, I am concentrating on the tales of Hans Christian Anderson.
