I forget though, was it a book first or a book adaptation of the movie?

Movie came first, then the book based off of the original script. ^^

Sounds like the book is a lot more indepth than the movie. I'll have to read it sometime :)

Oh, it is! It is so much more in depth! So much better - though, of course, the movie does have its charm. :)
