  • I downloaded the Wonderfalls series and watched the first 3 eps. I forgot what a great show it was. Stupid Fox for cancelling it. And Lee Pace! And the girl who plays Hilary from KyleXY!

  • After watching bootlegs of both the Broadway and London version of Wicked, I have to say I prefer the Broadway version better. Yes, London had Idina Menzel ( ( Read more... )

You've got mad downloading and burning activity. Sounds like good stuff though. Your AFI watching will be great- I love most of those old movies.

Jealous of your foreign treat cutie. I would certainly be eating there every day, since I used to go to the local coffee bar daily just for the blond Spike-look-alike, real British accent honey who called me "love" every morning. I'm easy.

I don't go to loud concerts much anymore because I'm lame, but I've been wearing earplugs since my 20s. I've got wicked bad permanent tinnitus, so extra loud concerts kill me. So you're not getting old, just sensible ;)

No cute Australian boy this morning :( What? I totally needed a muffin for breakfast, it is the most important meal of the day after all! ;P

It's been too long since I've seen a movie pre-1970. The last time was when I went through a mini classic movie marathon while at university.

LOL Well, at least you got the most important part!

The #1 movie according to AFI is Citizen Kane.

As for Brian Melo, Faber Drive & KT Tunstall, I can 99% guarantee that you'll recognize their songs. KT Tunstall for sure, her first 2 singles were played everywhere.

Well, at least Brian's bucking the trend of my needing to be seriously alarmed about the male CI winners' health...Also, IIRC, he has a decent voice. Was it his own music he was singing, and if so, what'd it sound like?

Speaking of which...did you see Kalan in the MetroNews this morning, geting his locks clipped for charity? Too funny. I think I did what Syn calls 'sporfle' right there on the spot.

Seems like the Idols either lose or gain weight while on tour. Other than Eva. Brian sang songs off his CD, no covers. In Toronto, he was opening for Faber Drive so his set was less than hour. Brian's CD is pop/rock. I guess like Daughtry but poppier?

I saw the pic. Actually saw it on MOD (the beauty of YouTube). He mentioned it at the concert last night and called it "a strange experience".
