As you all know, I had my right thyroid taken out a few weeks ago. Went for my follow-up appointment this morning and was hit by news I totally wasn't expecting. The pathology came back positive for papillary cancer. Cancer. HOLY SHIT I HAVE CANCER

Holy shit I am so sorry. As someone with three very close people who went through cancer, I still can't imagine what it's like to hear those news, but if you ever need to talk, if you need anything, I'm here. I swear to you it helps beat it if you go into it like you're going into war. ♥

It was a definite shock to hear. This surgeon is excellent but damn, he has no bedside manners. No preamble. Just "Hello, how are you feeling? Your test came back and you have cancer." But all will be well *positive thinking*
