I LOVE the cover-browser! :D I've been waiting for this ever since someone coded a plugin for the mac version!
As someone who FILLS the left with playlists, though, I have to say I'm not digging the additional leading between lines. Scrolling takes twice as long now.
I also, although I suspect it's just me, have been having bugs with assigning album artwork to more-than-one-file-at-once but ONLY for mp3s not ripped WITH iTunes. Odd. And when I added a trio of folders a minute ago, two outta the three added themselves twice. VERY odd. So methinks there's some buggies in this here new version.
OTHERWISE, I personally haven't witnessed any slowdown in performance, and I'm currently running iTunes, Firefox, Photoshop, and Explorer. So iTunes isn't bugging me yet. I do need to get rid of a lot of the junk that came loaded into Task Manager on my laptop, still. I keep forgetting to research what I can and cannot blow away outta there to speed everything up a tic.
iTUnes has always had a bug with albums adding twice. It's very weird. I actually had to uninstall 7 and put 6 back on. I always listen to music when I play WoW; however, with 7 the music skips like a scratched cd whenever WoW is open , and we can't have that. I did enjoy the album artwork browser and such. Ah well.
I find apple products to all be a pile of shit. 99% of the people that own apple products (ipod perhaps being the exception) think they are cool because they have them. Unfortunately, I continue to purchase these sub-par products and get stuck using shitty software like itunes. It really is a pile. I was pretty pissed when my Rodney Atkins CD (he's a top selling country music artist - I'm sure you had no idea) apparently has no album art but it is clearly for sale on itunes. Such junk. The only reason I installed it was for the album art.
