Omg... There will be a sequel, right? What about the 12 years? D: Oh, poor baby... I never trusted this man, argh, so disgusting! :@
When Kibum was just five he got so mad at Minho for thinking of him as an object, and look how things turned out for him now... he doesn't even care about it, he likes it )))):
It was so sad and hard to read this, I really loved this story and the way it was written... I hope we'll be able to read more of this universe... And for Kibummie to have a happy ending after all that terrible life T_T

I do hope to write more of this story eventually, but I can't guarantee how soon I'll be able to finish it. ^^;; But things do get better for Kibum eventually, no worries~

I'm glad you saw the parallel between the first scene and the last... I felt that the awful consequences of what Sanghoon did to Key would hit just that much harder if contrasted to how independent and sweet he started off as, y'know? Poor darling :c

this was an amazing story, it was really hard to stop reading once i got into it. i'm so curious about this world and its society, i want to understand more about its hierarchy and traditions--this is a compliment, by the way! you exposed enough of it to make me want more.
i'm also really fascinated and anguished about key's development throughout the story because he felt so strongly that he was his own person, he wasn't an object, and then... ah, it really makes me feel for him. i really want to hate sanghoon but at the same time i don't know what this society thinks about the type of relationship they have--although it feels to me that they don't care much about it because key's a slave--so he could just be a product of his world. i don't know.
i hope the cliff-hanger means we'll get to see more of this world though! :)

aslkjlsakj thank you so much! <3 I struggle with world-building and explaining things properly a lot of the time, so I'm super happy that I managed to make this society make sense, and also intrigue you about it as well~

Feel free to hate Sanghoon if you want; he's definitely a horrible person lol. The majority of society in this fic doesn't really care if slave children (especially non-human slave children) are abused in this manner, but that ofc doesn't make such awful things right, y'know?

I do want to write more eventually, so hopefully that works out! And thank you for reading and commenting on this! ^^

okay wow this was so well written but also so heartbreaking (how the story evolved and then basically got back to the starting point with kibum treated as an object;(() and it just kept me reading!!
i really hope for a sequel because of that cliffhanger!
and i'm really curious now who the author might be - you did such a great job!

I'm really glad you noticed the parallel between the first and last scenes, with Key doing a 180 with regard to his feelings of independence! sometimes character development can happen in a really sad way, not a good way, y'know? and I would definitely like to continue this someday; I just can't guarantee it'll happen anytime soon orz.
