Hi Mods!

New to LJ, so I need a bit of help with one thing:

If I'm posting a fic directly in the community, and it's a multi-chaptered one, how do I go about linking the earlier entries to the most recent one?

I hope this isn't a really obvious question :(

You need to post links to the previous chapters. To do that, find each page where the earlier chapters are, and copy that link into this html code:

[a href="(full web address here, including the "http://" portion)"]name of your link here[/a]

Note: You need to replace the square brackets [] with these arrows < > and post it to the html editor.

I have sent a fic and i don't know how to check if it is moderated or not. can someone please help me

Please wait at least 24 hours as the mods usually will not be able to get to entries immediately. As well, within those 24 hours, if your entry has not been posted, it has likely been rejected. You should receive an email notification to the email address that you use for livejournal as to the reasons why. On that note, check to see if you have allowed lj to send notifications and/or if your email treats lj notifcations as spam.
