Based on a line from a Jewel song that caught my attention and ended up inspiring this quick, less-than-one-page ficlet/drabble thing. I don’t own Ouran, and I don’t own some of the lines that inspired me- they’re from the song Long, Slow Slide. More-than-slight KyouxHaru. You can read with that in mind, or not if you prefer. It’s very vague.

Sad very sad... and with just having read all of 'complicated' 'She'd never be his bride' it seems rather ominous and I so want some sort of happy ending even if I can't really picture one for them. And the 'master of surpression' and 'she was the only real thing in his world' those are very good and the first one ringing true and the second even so because they all are of the same sort of status all rich all in the same world that Haruhi despite being 'common' is the breath of fresh air and someone different if I make sense.

Ah... oh! I am 'Angry Girl' who left the review last time it would have been longer but didn't want to but you I enjoyed the story a lot and am interested in the twins/Haruhi story whenever your muse of inspiration allows it =) hope you don't mind me commenting.

Kyouya and Haruhi certainly don't get their happy ending here but I have something nice in mind for 'Complicated'. ;) Yes, you've got it exactly right - the commoner/rich bastard element was the one I was playing with here. As well as writing something melodramatic and tortutring some just slightly OOC-ish characters (it's my idea of fun when I'm bored... hehe).

No, I don't mind comments at all. I love them in fact. xD I'd reply to all comments, but sometimes I can't think of anything fitting.

Hehe is that a surprise? I love reading! and like doing comments! you like torturing the characters? I've only just been able to do that to original characters I do think I would feel so guilty attempting to do it myself.

No no happy ending here at all... but I am glad to know that you have some good something nice in mind for complictated =) thought so! You really have got me liking this pairing the only problem I may have is we know he can be nice we know this but that family... it doesn't exude warmth does it? except his sister and maybe his mother and the benifits between I am wondering that you know in complicated the father said that he would also gain benefits from the union (when there was one) will we ever find out what they are?

that also is a very good ending I didn't mention before going back towards the poem in the begining. But in this AU world it makes me feel for him because she is bound to marry someone else

Very IC, a few nice choice expressions, a plausible scenario... though I'm pretty sure that (Kyouya is hot for Tamaki) Kyouya would flick his father off if he was really in love with Haruhi.
After all, he doesn't need a corporate wife. He's already a mommy. Why don't you post it on ff.net?

I know, Kyouya would be so much stronger than to let his father take over his life. Especially if it was something he was passionate about. (He doesn't need a profitable marraige to be successful!) That's why I wasn't eager to post this on FF.net. To me it's OOC, although to me you could also call it as an alternate reality. It was fun to do though - the fanfiction equivalent of a doodle!
