Evangelion Movie liscensed in the US

the eva movies were already released explain? is this something new? and its funimation... Im concerned.

Evangelion 1.0: You are [not] alone, the 1st of 4 movies redoing the Eva series came out in Japan awhile back.

FUNimation liscensed the first one for US release. We were hoping ADV would get it having done everything prior; now we just really want the same voice actors. FUNimation is the US anime industries only hope at this point...

redoing the EVA series why? it was fine? As for funimation being our last hope we are officially screwed :(

Sure, it was fine. =/ But the new movie is exciting. It adds new footage and a new character...

And I dont know why you're bashing FUNimation. They have done a lot of great series and they are the ones who release Dragonball Z sets for only $30 a pop. Thats fucking cheap. Theyre dubs are good, better than Bandai.

ADV is the only other decent company and thanks to some other fucking company they are going down the drain which is a real shame because I only live an hour from them.

When I say redoing the series, I mean... its like the movie Rebirth... The first one covers like up to the episode before where Asuka is introduced. Its compressed, obviously, but its made for fans. I dunno, just my opinion.
