**blinks** Your parents lost power? Wow. We didn't here, and so far as I know, my Place of Employment never did either [and I must say....trying to do the job of a nine-person team with four people? Is. Not. Fun.] Probably a good thing we *didn't* lose power, as *everything* here is electric, so we wouldn't have had any heat at all. :P

You fell down? :( I've been lucky, so far. **knock on wood** Hope you're feeling better, and yes, ERs suck at the *best* of times.

David,

OH No! I hope you feel much better by this post. Sorry to hear about the fall and no power too! It feels weird to hear about power outages happening in the states. In my lifetime here on Guam we've had so many its like the norm. But with the past 2 or 3 years our Power company has done wonders that poweroutages are(unless a typhoon hits)rare...which shocks the hell out of us now!! I pray all goes back to normal for you folks out there. Many warm hugs from Guam, gg

Thanks everyone! The ice has melted and I'm recovering. I ended up with a small fractured elbow and they put me in a splint type thing. But hopefully I'll heal quickly.
