Oh boy, Sam's gettin' himself in a muck for sure! So's Martha for that matter! O.o

*watches the two squirm* It's fun xD I have to refrain my self from giggling everytime I write "Martha-Joan". Gotta love Gene for his know-it-all, one-tracked mind =D

More of a Sam/Annie fan than a potential Sam/Martha, but I'm game to see where this goes.

One thing - the Oval's in Surrey. Not really just round the corner...

Ohhh... you can probably tell I'm not a local. Not even close; I live in Australia. I've been bluffing my way through the geographic coodinates in this fic xD I was wondering when it would backfire.
Well, lets just pretend that it was around the corner from the oval. Is it called "The Oval"? cause I was meaning more of a playing field... hmmm

The Oval's the ground in London where Bradman went for a duck in his last Test and so didn't get a career average of over 100; say "oval" in reference to English cricket and that's the place people assume you mean. Manchester's Test ground is Old Trafford; for a place where school-age kids would play, "cricket ground" is probably your best bet.
