Just had to say how much I love this - I live not far from Lynton and this description fits perfectly - could be Heddon's Mouth (although they might accidentally have apparated onto a tripper there), or perhaps Sherrycombe. Is it meant to be one of them..? I think I heard somewhere that the last druids on the moor were driven into the sea at Heddon's Mouth, although that might have been something me sister and I made up! There're definitely some suspiciously shaped stones there, though. Thanks for a great read!

Thanks so much for your comment. I'm glad you enjoyed this -- especially if you know the area. I had some help from gilpin25 on this; I told her what kind of coastline I wanted, and she suggested the area around Lynton. I'd like to see it myself someday!
