Shannon wants to leave?!! Fucking shit. She's the only thing that makes that place a little less unbearable. If she goes, then you have to go, too, that's all there is to it. That way you can both give your notices on the same day.

Fuck lawyers and fuck insurance companies and fuck FEMA and fuck Bush and fuck the Republicans and fuck the Democrats and we're fucking moving to fucking Europe.

Argh!

Hee, thanks for the clutches. Always nice to receive. Would you like to cheer me up with another VM fic? I've got a new, or, rather, extended pairing to suggest ...

Good LORD. I mean, really, enough is enough. You guys have paid your dues ten times over this past year. I'm so frustrated that you guys are continuing to have to suffer through more and more of this ordeal, it's so maddening. It just sucks.

I wish there were something I could do to help. I'm just sorry you guys are in this situation. If you both want to quit your jobs and move to Pensacola while job-hunting in NY, I'm sure Pat and Nicole would be OK with that, but then you'd have no finances with which to move to NY...

I'm just glad you guys are coming to visit this weekend. We'll do whatever you want for the whole time. Just play with your cats and cry or watch movies or eat good food or whatever you want.

Pizza. Could really use some pizza. Delivered. We can't get pizza delivered anymore, and it drives me crazy. We ordered it once, and waited for like two hours, and it finally arrived, and it was cold, and not what we ordered. But we were so exhausted and hungry by then that we just paid and ate the pizza. I think I nearly cried, I was so disappointed. I used to love being able to come home from a long day and decide to order a pizza instead of cooking - a little bit sinful, just enough to make it extra good, you know? I miss that so much. Isn't it silly, the things you don't think you'd miss until they're not there, and suddenly it's like the world is out to get you? But yes, that's me, waxing philosophical on pizza delivery. Spoiled American ( ... )

Thank you for beating them up! They're really eeeeevil. I think they're secretly minions of Voldemort (did I spell that correctly? My HP cred is so low, I'm embarassed). But thanks for the support.

Remember that you have a permanent open invitation to stay with Jeremy and myself in NY. It's not the city, but it's just a train ride away, and I'll keep my ears peeled.

I know it's not exactly in your area of interest, but I learned of a fine arts website for fine arts jobs in NY: nyfa.com

It has things like gallery listings and such, so you could check that out if you're getting desperate. I'll also keep my ears open and ask Jeremy to do the same. Granted, I'll be looking for a job at the same time, but it won't be in the city.

If it helps any, he's got a punching bag in the basement for those extra-angry days.

::HUGS:: I'm so sorry, sweetie. We're having similar problems at the house. It's like bashing your head against a brick wall without a safety helmet.

I can't wait to get back Home and finally see you guys. I miss you so much, and I have this crazy idea in my head that it'll all be better once I'm there and I can see you and hug you and put a bandaid on it.

::HUGGLES again::

I know I told you this on the phone, but I really sincerely appreciate the offer, and may take you up on it if nothing materializes in the next month or so. We can survive the snow together. *shivers thinking about it* Can't wait to see you - one more week to go! Good luck on the finals, I know you'll make it through them.
