So liek I watched it this morning. Met a ridiculous amount of people I know at the theater. (Later ran into yet another acquaintance at lunch.)

Haven't watched the movie yet. Totally looking forward to the Snape/Lily scenes! I'm afraid I'd have to cover my eyes when I reach the Epilogue....

The epilogue wasn't actually as bad as I was expecting -- they streamlined it a lot (as they did with the rest of the book) and the result is much less wince-inducing, even with the awkwardly aged up characters. Plus the child actors they got for the kids are ADORABLE.

XD You mean the first part of DH, or the first movie period? (Can't remember which of the movies you've watched, if any.) First part of DH is possibly my least favorite of the movies but it'll probably come off much better if you watch it together with part two.
