The fic is nowhere near ready to be published, but I posted it anyway. Maybe sometime later I'll go back and expand it or something, but right now it just annoys me and I don't wanna think about it.
On the bright side, now I have an excuse to post this:
Full translation of the answer to the Ogma question from the

This is amazing, their relationship is... Amazing wow.
Maybe if you keep at it and neatly put together all of their conversations and backstory for easy reading, you'll find it easier to write them?

Yeah. I think I am going to need to retranslate some of the dialogue from the original games too, to get a better feel for them.

I really hope they don't localize Sheema as Caema, lol. At least the PAL version of FE11 was Shiida instead of Caeda.

I admittedly wasn't as annoyed by this particular change as I was by the silly special spellings for "Jeorge" and "Nyna"... But Caema is just. Seriously awkward. XDD

More seriously, I do love Dieck too, but Ogma is particularly compelling to me. He has a rougher, more melancholy edge to him than Dieck does imo.

Also, does this mean Ordwin didn't end up in Grust until after Cartas was already king of Archanea? Or did Cartas have that much pull prior to the Wars of Liberation that he was able to send rivals off to Nowhereland?
I love this universe. It's just so darned horrible.

And yeah it says something like although Ordwin helped out Cartas a lot during the wars, Cartas kicked him out, so it wasn't until after.

LOL. I KNOW. Skimming that page is hilarious, pretty much every section starts out with a remark on how the kingdom had a really uh, unfortunate history.
Ah man you know what, I think I will try giving this a full translation sometime this week. I never actually looked closely at some of these sections, but there are at least a couple of interesting details I never noticed.

Does it mention anywhere who the rival claimants to the Altean throne were? Because that whole post-Anri succession dispute always sounded weird, like we were missing a critical piece of information. My headcanon says Anri had an illegitimate kid (most likely a daughter) but I'm guaranteed to be wrong on that count.
