Watch this space. :DDDDDJUST GOT BACK. Tired, but it was so worth it. Lemme just put it this way: when the news came out I was wavering over whether to get a ticket since it was fairly pricey for just an interview/Q&A, but when it came down to it, I knew if I didn't go, I'd regret it for the rest of my life ( Read more... )

Hey, I went too! I bought tickets a few days after you made your post, and I'm quite thankful you did; I'm glad I went! :DDDD

I will type mine up tonight or tomorrow. I'll make a post that's mostly just a copy of what was said; I took a lot of notes. And yes, we should compare notes. XDD

Your "notes" are a pleasure to read! Wish I was there! I personally think that's a lot of questions covered, with the translation and all. Also need to watch Ponyo.

Yeah, it actually was a lot of questions! I just wish so many of them weren't repeats.

Ponyo is seriously beautiful and surreal. There have been a lot of comparisons to Totoro, but Totoro I actually feel is more of an "adult" movie in a sense that the best aspects of it are best appreciated when older, but Ponyo is a sheer kids movie and it shows.

I'm so envious. Another friend went to the SDCC panel. Miyazaki is someone I absolutely adore. He made me love animation all over again. I'm so envious you got to see him and can totally understand why this post seems so giddy :D
