Skip Beat: Eeeee. I am so totally addicted. The manga is prettier, but the anime is loads of fun too. Good pacing/direction so far. I wonder if it'll cover the entirety of the Dark Moon arc? :D Or beyond, even. Though ANN only has 25 eps. Oh well

Skip Beat = happiness. I hate that Crunchy has it. It really angers me as Crunchy has been charging for subs all along (as part of their premimum dealios) and I find that kind of shady and rude... so I don't want to give them my money. D:

Would love to have you back on AO ... lots of changes (new update in terms of North America) and we've got four new recruits XD. I'd like my officer to come back so we can at least talk about whether we want to try for a town. (if so, I will begin aggressively donating XD)

XD I think it's a minority opinion in fandom from some of the commentary I've seen (I think people have different expectations than I do...), but imo season 2 >>>> season 1. In a way, season 1 was really just setting up season 2 I think -- there have been a lot of interesting reversals. The only possible concern this season is the introduction of a lot of new characters, but it hasn't been really bad so far, as the plot is still much more focused and better-paced than season 1.

I used to like Crunchyroll until it started becoming obvious they were trying to make money...

I'm definitely going to try getting on tomorrow -- I think my sister has another concert in San Francisco but I may or may not have to go. I just have the cover left to design, so that should be done tonight. I'm just blocked for ideas.

I must say that I just don't understand Marina's obsession with Setsuna. I mean, it doesn't feel odd the other way around (OMG MY MOTHER, symbolic figurehead of peace is symbolic and full of peace, Setsuna doesn't exactly go out much so one of his only social contacts etc.), and it hasn't come out of nowhere, but it's never felt natural to me. Am I alone on this?

Kati/Sumeragi is sad and hot (there was one excellent comic with Kati daydreaming about college-age ~Leesa~ only for Patrick to physically burst into her fantasy, cue her snapping at him), but I'm kind of liking Sumeragi/Tieria.

Sumeragi: Let's dress you up as a gorgeous lady!
Tieria: Okay then.
Sumeragi: *probably does his makeup herself*

Nah, not alone. Their first meeting in particular always seemed so utterly loltastic to me. I guess maybe you could say that she senses a kindred soul in him (despite teh Gundam), but you're right, it feels so FORCED.
