I agree with your (very sensible and well said) comments. I read just one of the men's stories, and I noticed that the only reason he was gay is because he didn't get justice. He then goes on to claim that if Homosexuals have rights, then the world will go into an uncontrollable spiral. As a result, he is the Vice-chairman of the EI board. I simply think he is too chicken to admit that, despite his encounters, he is/was happier being a homosexual.
I've been assaulted, verbally abused and god only knows what else simply because of who I am, but I never show them my pain. This guy simply decided to change who he was because he wasn't helped. It does happen, but it is no reason to change yourself.
