Now that I've got all the boring things out of the way, it's time to talk about the fun stuff! ^^ (Namely what I did in between all the crazy study sessions.)

The first thing I did was buy MANGA. Lots and lots of MANGA. :D :D It's thanks to those lovely babies that I managed to maintain a tentative grip on my sanity during those troubled times.

And ( Read more... )

Luckily, you had all of these to keep you alive during the nightmare of exams. That's why you made it through without the net.
I couldn't keep away from the computer even during the two weeks of exams.
But let me just say that you are a lunatic for playing for so long! Ok? :P
And, awww, you are welcome!

If I had internet too, I would have posted an entry on lj after every single exam. :P No one can blame you, really.

I've long since come to the realization that I'm a complete and utter lunatic, thank you very much. XD

Skills? XD Ha, that makes me sound cooler than I am. :P I never thought of myself as a particularly good player.

But really, I've been playing videogames since I was eight, so I guess it makes sense that I got kinda sorta decent at it. ^^

I really need to start reading FMA again, and catching up. I love it, but I sort of just stopped reading it. I do that with a lot of manga >_> Fruits Basket is cool, but I only have one volume ^^ I didn't feel like getting into another long series at the time.

Dude, FFT in 32 hours, whoa! I've had the game for months and I'm nowhere near finished. At the same time I can understand how a game just pulls you in. Are you going to spend more time on it on this playthrough? And have you played FFTA? I love games like that XD.

Welcome back, btw ^_^

I have five Fruits Basket volumes, and I don't think I'm getting any more, mostly because I don't have a lot of money. I thought I could watch the anime to see how the story ends...but, yeah. >_< Of course I could always download the manga online, but it just doesn't feel the same, you know?

I think I'm kinda over with my second playthrough too. I'm on chapter 4, level 60~70, and I got all the secret characters. (Balthier! <3) There's still stuff for me to do (I read something about a secret dungeon) but I kinda got bored with it now. :P I have been playing it for the last month, afterall. But it's a great game, so I'm eventually going to go back to it again. *cough*unlike FFXII*cough*

FFTA, huh? Interesting. My SP is currently MIA but I could always download an emulator...

Thanks! ^^

The anime ending could have been different anyway. I used to read a lot of unlicensed manga, but yeah, physical book is better. The only series I downloaded that was in stores was Death Note; I just could not wait to finish that.

I see how you would be bored with it ^^ For me, and I don't know why, I just get bored with PSP games. It's something about the system that I just don't like. It's cute that they put Balthier in the game ^^ I'm actually probably going to playthough FFXII many more times; I love the game. I'll spare you though if you aren't fond of it XP

You don't have a DS?

The PSP system can be kinda awkward. I avoid playing any action/adventure games that require camera rotation, because I always get dizzy after a few hours. XP

While I liked FFXII (it is Final Fantasy, afterall) I couldn't help but be a little disappointed at it. I didn't really like the battle system. All you had to was make the character walk into an enemy and watch as your party kicked the enemy's butt. Maaaaybe you would ocassionally cast a spell manually, but that was it. The gambits made sure everything was automatic. Not particularly exciting ( ... )
