I think that's because we were never really forced to do chores when we were kids XD; We weren't nagged at all because we had a helper around so when you're a kid, you get curious. I used to go "I wanna wash the dishes I wanna wash the dishes" to our helpers back then and had to stand on a stool to reach the sink ;'D;;;;;

BUT I DO HAVE LAZY DAYS TOO ;A; *HUGS* So you don't have to feel terrible! XD ♥ Sometimes it just HURTS to move around and clean XDDDD;

And d'awww I miss HD DDD': I once had a Harry Potter phase but that was before and I've never really seriously read the books, only up until book 4, I guess XD;;; So didn't get to the part where Draco becomes all "*EVIL*" and the UST arrives between them and Harry :| :| :| BUT I MISS THOSE HARRY/DRACO DAYS ;A;

I'm scared to read HP fics because I'm afraid I'll get spoiled XD; which probably shouldn't matter anymore because it's Harry Potter. Of course I'll get spoiled orz orz XD;

WHAT. WHAT. THEY CAN'T DO THIS. DD: My only happiness aside from the Internet (which means fandom stuff) is the happiness I get from reading books! D: *is a bookwork* I love the thrill of browsing the shelves of books in National Bookstore, Powerbooks and Fully Booked, and finding something interesting. AND I USE MY OWN MONEY TOO (well, unless my parents are in Manila to visit ^^;). WHYYYY. T_____T And all because of Twilight too! DDDDD: This is like, discouraging people from reading books! WHICH THE GOV'T SHOULD BE ENCOURAGING US OF DDDDD:

I read about that article about the Great Book Blockade even before it came out in the news. And I was TOTALLY PISSED. Books are already expensive as it is; if they try to implement tax on it, it would take a fortune out of people like us. And guh, the way that stupid undersecretary twisted the words of the Florence Agreement really made me rage. They get to decide what's educational and what's not? Why, I don't think they read books in the first place!

With this, I've certainly lost hope in the Philippine government. We'll not see the end of corruption. But let me just say: DAMN YOU CUSTOMS, FUCKING GO TO HELL. D

AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, they're going to go through the trouble to tax books? :| I don't see any reason why they have any right to, honestly D': Though, tbh, I don't exactly get that Florence Agreement very much >>; Bottom line is, no one's going to buy books anymore and sales will drop and no one's going to learn English and A BOOK PIRACY TRADE WILL APPEAR XD; *bricked*

I seriously see no reason why they should earn money on things that they did not spend time and effort and brain cells to write and publish :(
