The descriptions were vivid and fascinating-from the beginning the author drops you into the world and lets the story unfold from there. There’s a great cast of characters, including some that were only minor mentions in the original series, who are all brought well to life. Janet’s voice is spot on, and many astute observations are made about the various characters. All in all, if you’re looking for a great blend of plot, character study, introspection and descriptive narration, this is one to check out!
