Why you should read this …
I love this fic because it takes a premise that pretty much lends itself to pairing fic, but does a great job spinning it into so much more. Annabeth’s relationships with all the cast members get a fair amount of screen time and we are treated to the different interactions with her various friends. It also stays within the canon universe (and given the temptation of so many authors to stray once the characters are in the mortal world, this is a pretty rare find in this fandom!) but blends the mythology and magic elements beautifully into the mortal setting. The characterisation is spot on and given the multiple cast members featured in the fic, that is no small praise! I recommend this for those of you who adored each and every one of the main heroes in the series.
