Alice trembled as he made his way across his bedroom, feeling the familiar combination of love and lust coming off him in waves. Funny how the after-effects from that botched raid on the illegal Potions lab had been lingering on her fiance for only two days, but she felt as though she'd know the scent for years.
Then again, Amortentia would do that to anyone - precisely the reason Frank hadn't been able to go to work after he'd got himself drenched in it during their raid. But they weren't at work, and that heady mixture of Frank and the Amortentia was making her knees feel weak ...
Frank held his arms out to her and she fell into them, breathing in deeply. He chuckled.
'Missed me, did you?'
Alice pressed her lips to his neck. 'No,' she murmured against his skin. 'It's just the Amortentia.'
'Of course. Well, this must be one of the fringe benefits they talked about when we took the job.'
'Mmmhmm. Because you'd never get into my knickers without it.'
Frank laughed and pulled her backwards onto the bed.
