:DDD Blade very nobly put up with me while I yelled in the kitchen about how this was TOTALLY the reason the Pens were so snakebit and how EVERYTHING MADE PERFECT SENSE and POSSIBLY JAGR IS YODA and so on and so forth and somehow didn't shiv me with a spatula when I wouldn't let it go, too. Hee. I can only conclude that game 4 was Hoth or Derra IV, honestly. /nerrrrrrrrd

I think Ray Shero actually has to be the Emperor under the terms of this metaphor? But then I feel like that's crueller than I'm interested in being and the Pens are all, like, the dudes who're just doing their best for a paycheque and unfortunately the government is Bad News Bears.

Molly makes a really good case for Scott Hartnell to be Leia above, mostly because HIS HAIR WOULD BE GLORIOUS. And I think that then also keeps Danny Briere as Han Solo although I don't know who that leaves as Chewie. Lavvy might be Mon Mothma just because that would entertain the crap out of me. Mostly I didn't give this all that much thought except to shriek "ORANGE!!" a lot.

...oh god, I think this makes the refs Ewoks?!
