I can't think about the playoffs right now because I am too sober and overinvested, so. *jitters* (On Wednesday I hated everything and only avoided breaking my no-hangover streak because Blade is awesome and fed me; on Friday I drank so much caffeinated beverage that I had to cut myself off. BECAUSE IT'S THE CUP, EH? *crazyeyes ( Read more... )

Doug/Eva/LaFlamme threesome= Best idea ever. I'll be adding that to my reading list tonight and then wishing for more. And then watching Goon again 'cos that film is made of excellent asskicking win.

Mostly I am just posting to rec, though, because earlier this month maudlinrose also watched Goon, and then was awesome enough to start telling me stories about a Doug/Eva/LaFlamme threesome. And then she tied it together more, and now everyone else can also read That Has Long Since Found a Home over on the AO3. \o/ (But seriously, if you can read threesome stories you should totally go read this, because it is DELIGHTFUL.)

Thanks for the rec! Threesomes yay!

Kids :(

Mostly I am just lolling at the idea of Calgary and Edmonton trading coaches over the summer.

But speaking of the kids, did you catch Ebs prank-calling T. Hall?

Kiiiiiiids. I miss them. :(

Oh god I hope not. :/ I'm way too irrationally invested in Tom Renney motion. :/

And omg, I did. SO CHARMED BY THEM BOTH. Endlessly, endlessly charmed. *_______*

Um, at least they are getting international experience/rest?

(OMG. For a whole other level of babies playing hockey... the Edmonton Oil Kings had been on a 22-game winning streak through the end of the season and playoffs, and I've been pulling for them as the ONLY LOCAL TEAM STILL PLAYING... but it was an elimination match for their opponents last night... and Moose Jaw's captain had an emergency appendectomy in the morning and then the coach went with the 16-year-old backup-goalie-with-only-one-WHL-start... and they won. Babies!)

I've been impressed with Taylor's interviews at the end of this year (you could actually see him learning from previous mistakes -- in hockey and the media -- and making corrections), but I still thought I'd be cringing through most of this show. But he was pretty decent!

But Ebs will probably get a girlfriend first. Oh, sweetie.
