Rewatching Bend It Like Beckham with the flatmate. It's the first time he's seen it, so we had the "omwtfKALINDA" moment about halfway through. HEE. This movie remains deeply delightful.

The work server finally deigned to let me back on (last night it was hating freedom; THANKS BRO, NOT LIKE WE HAVE AN AUDIT THIS FRIDAY OR ANYTHING, OH WAIT) so ( Read more... )

the flat, family, hockey, nice pile of rocks, flatmates, nzihl

a family meeting over your brother buying a house? that's amazing. i love the idea of families who are so close. <3

lol @ the pants. (or lack thereof). i'm sure that takeaway places are well used to people coming in late in all different states of attire. :P i say this to comfort myself for realising when picking up pizza's a week or so ago, that i was wearing my slippers...

We're actually not so much in some (many) ways? But a) my mum wanted to see if I'd be interested in going in on it with him to decrease the amount he has to borrow, and b) it would impact some family finance stuff generally (since my dad is retired and my mum's job is not the highest paying thing ever).

I was perfectly dressed! For lounging. :D And yeah, I'm sure they're used to it. I just felt a little silly in comparison with L. :D

ALSO I just realised i forgot to reply to you on twitter -- right now, if I can get another day off work (OOPS. SORRY, BOSSMAN.) then I will mostly likely to aiming for the Sydney counter-rev. That's only one day off work needed instead of one and a half, and the flights to Sydney are about $120 cheaper than to Melbourne. :/

I hope so, too. And oh, honey. :/ Is it ticket or time away or both? :/ Mrrrh.

It really is! Sadly, laziness was, as ever, the winner on the day. *g*

It was so goooooooood. It was 2 all after the first period, and then the second was scoreless, and then Queenstown scored their third and TENSION and then Botany got three more, which: nice. Botany did admittedly spend the first period in a little bit of a "passing: how does it fuckin' work?" fugue, but after that they really did bounce back with possession remarkably. *g*

And thank you, I'm sure I/we will!
