I want very much to recreate the chain of ear-worming with malice aforethought that had us in tears of laughter at work this afternoon, but I honestly don't think I could do justice to our genius. Suffice to say we had a good five minutes of absolute hilarity with me and blademistress going back and forth with things like "it's a TRAGEDY" and "well, I'm sorry ( Read more... )

friends, domestic goddess, nice pile of rocks, anniversaries, polls, bandom, quote!

(you've heard Marky's cover of that, yes?)

thank you very muchly!

and, oh, bandom, seriously. i just. i would have to find my Star Wars fic to be sure, but i am pretty darn sure i have written more bandom in a YEAR than i have in every other fandom PUT TOGETHER since i started posting fic on the internet in mumblety2000mumble. And it's kind of nuts to think I've got to see, like, five of the seven bands I'm most into in that time as well. (Fall Out Boys, Cab-babies, come here to meeeeeeeeeee. *makes grabbyhands* *also at Bob Bryar damnit*)

And, damnit I gotta visit properly, yes. *pokes at the calendar for next year, makes frowny 'hrm' faces*

*snugs you in return*

Aww! I wish I remembered my bandom anniversary. MCR wrapped around me slowly after Three Cheers but I wasn't obsessive until Black Parade. I liked Panic's music but didn't get squeaky over them until I read fic. And there was P33ngate. Snakes on a Plane raping me with Cobra and Gabe, and Bill Beckett and the concept of fangirlling a boy whose band I didn't know. That might have been the moment I became a bandom girl. The Snakes on a Plane video.

The fact we were tromping happily around the country makes it pretty easy to remember. :D I know when I bought Fever, too, cos I still have the receipt. *is a nerdy nerdy Panic-wife*
