I don't think the built-in waiting period is a terrible thing, though. (LIKE WHAT IF WE HAVE A FIGHT OMG? Or I become the sort of person who thinks tattoos are a bad idea [leading us to have a fight] etc etc etc.)

I think I'd like something small just under the inside of my elbow, but I don't know what it would be. Also I'm a little unsure of it for visibility reasons (... I say to the girl who has her wrists done).

Well, yeah, there is that. (AHAHAAAA I can't even IMAGINE. That's like a universe in which John Sheppard only likes GIRLS! :D But, yes, I concede the sensible-ness of those points even as I cannot comprehend them coming to life.)

That sounds very fair, yeah. And I have to say, re visibility, obviously every man and his dog has seen the new one, but I have only ever had ONE person notice the first one who I didn't have to particularly point it out to, and that was with bare wrists for months, so I think places like that tend to be okay/subtle visually. And I suspect the idea for something like that there will absolutely come to you when the right one comes along. (I am pretty sure I want a Southern Cross with red stars somewhere at some point but... colour = bigger commitment somehow (idk, right?) and so I am shelving that for Thought for a while.)

I definitely felt the urge to have one more visible (also I am a lot happier 'explaining' the new one to people than the first one, if that makes any sense) so that does make complete and total sense to me, yeah. Could you manage to have a visible one eventually or is it really not a great idea for you for whichever (assuming largely job/societal/family-type) reasons?

And, dude, awesome. I almost definitely will, there are too many of you guys there who I badly want to see and hang out with, and offer v v much appreciated, I will more than likely take you up on that. \o/ *adores*
