See, there's a lot to flail about, but... oh, SGA writers. It's not Save Teyla, Save the World, it's Save Teyla's (male) baby, Save the World. Fuck the vessel - it's the kid that matters. Do. Not. Want.
And rocks fall people probably die? Laaaaaaame. They should have stopped with John going into stasis - way better cliffhanger.
That said, BOOOOOOOOOOYS! Oh, John, ready to leave the timeline how it was so Rodney could be happy and oh, Rodney not even thinking that there was anyone else but John who could save the world. You have so much faith. It makes me flaily and eeeeee.
Also, the Radek and Ronon-Todd moments gave me much quiet glee.
And do not fear - s5 is coming in summer! And there's Everybody Loves Rodney to keep you going. \o/
I for the most part agree with you there, and, meh, sigh, but (and I know I need to think about this more to get it straight in my head before I even try to meta) at the same time, while they drove the storyline to start with, it feels like there's possibly also an element of that being the way it gets pushed as a result of that-- oh, I'm so not putting this right, nevermind until I work out what I'm actually trying to put into words. Stupid faily brain!
It was definitely not as a strong a moment of uncertainty, yeah. I wondre if perhaps they didn't because it might've been too similar to back in SG-1 when they had Jack in stasis? I agree though, yeah.
And YES OH MY GOD.
I KNOW I KNOW RIGHT?? <3! That bit was so fucking awesome.
AHAHAHAHAAA, yeah. I keep saying (and they proved it in that picture of books that they have around the office, thanks JoeM) that JoeM ESPECIALLY and I totally read all the same books, and now I really suspect we've been reading the same fanfic. (I suspect MartyG and Alan McCullough have been reading the same fanfic as the rest of us for about two years longer, but I digress. *snicker*)
